OUR GUARANTEE
Meals are guaranteed to have a shelf life of 5 days, from the date of production. Meals must be refrigerated at 35-40 degrees. If within the 5-day guaranteed shelf life, you think that any product is not fresh, freeze it and return it to Healthy Chef Creations™. You will receive a replacement meal (similar to the one returned). If the product is not returned, no replacement will be issued.

ORDERING
You must place your order by midnight Wednesday for the following week's Tuesday and Friday orders. Payment is due before your order is delivered/shipped. You may order by:

HOME MEAL DELIVERY
When completing your customer profile, you are responsible for entering the correct address, including street number, apartment number, building number, zip code, and the correct spelling of the name of the person to whom the food is to be delivered. If you provide an incorrect address and we deliver the food to that address, you must pay all charges Please leave delivery instructions, if any, when filling out your profile (i.e. "place meals in cooler located in garage", "a key will be left under pot beside garage door", etc..)


***All food is prepared in a certified, licensed, sanitary, professional kitchen. We prepare your meals fresh and deliver/ship them to your home in airtight, sealed microwave-safe or oven-safe containers. You can safely store meals for up to five days in a refrigerator set at 35°F, or in the freezer for up to 120 days.

LOCAL DELIVERY
Your delivery driver will deliver fresh meals on Tuesdays and/or Fridays, between the hours of 1 PM and 7 PM. Delivery fees apply according to your delivery address zip code. If you are home, your delivery driver will bring your meals in and place them in your refrigerator or arrange them on the counter for you. It is customary to tip your delivery driver; they work hard and look forward to gratuities. If you are not home, your meals will be delivered in a cooler bag with lots of ice packs and left by your front door. Your meals will stay cold for 6 - 8 hours in the hot sun. Please remember to place our cooler bag and ice packs out side your front door for pickup, on your next delivery day. If the bag is not by your front door at your next scheduled delivery, we will leave your food in a new cooler bag and charge you a $9.95 new bag fee. This new bag fee ensures that your meals are kept cold until you get home, and that we do not have to charge you an extra delivery fee for returning to deliver your food when you are home. If you decide to take a break from using Healthy Chef Creations™ services for more than two weeks, please call us and schedule a time for us to pick up your cooler bags. If you decide to discontinue Healthy Chef Creations™ meal delivery, you must return all cooler bags within 6 months. If you do not return all bags by the end of 6 months, we will charge you $25.00 for each bag not returned. You must pay any outstanding bag charges in full before resuming services in the future. If you need to change a scheduled delivery date or time, you must notify customer service by Monday at 12 noon. *First time customers - A one time fee of $9.95 for cooler and ice packs, will be charged to your credit card.

MEAL PICK-UP AT THE HEALTHY CHEF'S KITCHEN

Pick-up of meals is available free of charge at The Healthy Chef Creations™ facility at 1435 Howell Branch Road in Winter Park, Florida 32789, Tuesdays and Fridays 10am - 6pm and Wednesdays 10am - 2pm. If you are unable to pick up your meals at our kitchen at the scheduled time, it is your responsibility to notify customer service and reschedule a pick-up time (phone: 407-339-2433).
The Healthy Chef™ will freeze all meals that have not been picked up by Wednesday at 3pm unless other arrangements have been made. If you do not pick your meals up by the agreed upon rescheduled date, The Healthy Chef™ will donate them to a local food shelter. If you need to change a scheduled pick-up date or time, you must notify customer service by Monday at 12 noon.

FED EX OVERNIGHT DELIVERY

  • Tuesday's Shipment: You will receive your cold fresh meals by 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

  • Friday's Shipment: You will receive your cold fresh meals by 7 p.m. on Friday.

Meals are shipped in a thick insulated cooler with lots of ice packs and have been tested to stay cold for 36 hours. Please note that your area delivery person will leave your package if you are not home based on the address provided. Healthy Chef Creations will not be held responsible for any negligence due to Fed Ex and or UPS non delivery of meals due to their negligence and or acts of nature. Healthy Chef Creations promises to work on your behalf to submit and follow up on all claims to Fed Ex or UPS, due to damaged meals, undelivered packages, acts of nature or any negligence of UPS or Fed EX.

Important Things to Remember When Placing Your Order

  1. 1. When you enter your profile, check your information carefully. If you provide incorrect information and Healthy Chef Creations™ is unable to deliver or delivers to the wrong address, you are responsible for food payment and other invoiced charges. Also, after you place your order, carefully check all information on your invoice, and call customer service if there is an error.
  2. If you need to change a scheduled delivery date, you must notify customer service by Monday at 12 noon (phone: 407-339-2433).
  3. It is your responsibility to secure your pets. If a driver is unable to make your delivery because he or she is unable to get out of the delivery vehicle, we cannot deliver. You are responsible for picking up your meals at The Healthy Chef Creations™ facility at 1435 Howell Branch Road in Winter Park, FL. If you prefer that the driver return a second time, we will add an adjusted delivery fee to your invoice.
  4. If you live in a gated community, you are responsible for giving Healthy Chef Creations™ your gate code. If your community has a guard station, you are responsible for making sure that The Healthy Chef Creations™ driver is given access to your address. If the delivery driver is turned away, you are responsible for picking up your meals at The Healthy Chef Creations™ facility at 1435 Howell Branch Road in Winter Park, FL Chef facility. If you prefer that the driver return a second time, we will add an adjusted delivery fee to your invoice.

VERIFICATION OF ORDERS THAT YOU PLACE ONLINE
After you order your meals online, you can print out your invoice. Your invoice includes a list of the food items that you have ordered, the price per item, and the total cost, including delivery/shipping, taxes, and any discounts. You also have the option of printing your order with the nutritional information for each entrée. When you click the submit button, the order is transmitted to Healthy Chef Creations™. You have until Wednesday at midnight to call customer service to make any changes or corrections to your order with no penalties.

ORDER CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS
There are no long-term contracts with Healthy Chef Creations™. To cancel services, you may call customer service at any time. To begin using Healthy Chef™ Services again, you must pay any outstanding balance in full.

If you want to change your order for the following week's meal delivery, you have until midnight on Wednesday to call customer service at 407-339-2433. After midnight on Wednesday, we accept no changes.

If you cancel an order for the following week's scheduled delivery on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we retain a 50% cancellation fee and credit the remaining 50% of your payment to your next order. If you cancel an order on a Monday or Tuesday for that week's delivery, there will be no refund or credit given.

REFUNDS
All refunds will be for food item credit. No exceptions! Cooking Classes can be transferred for meals.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
All gift certificates from Healthy Chef Creations, can be redeemed for any one of or services and can be used for delivery fees, service fees and handling charges. All gift certificates will expire (non redeemable), one year from the date of purchase or given to as a form of payment, trade or donation. All gift certificates are non refundable for cash.

CREDITS
All credits issued by Healthy Chef Creations onto individual or joint accounts, must be used within one year of issue date.

DIETARY ALLERGIES AND PREFERENCES
Healthy Chef Creations™ is not responsible for any health problems you may suffer if you choose a meal or food item to which you are allergic, nor it is responsible if you select a meal that contains a food item that you do not prefer. For some meals, Healthy Chef Creations™ offers options for how your food can be prepared, e.g., you may prefer rice cheese, instead of a dairy-based cheese. When you select a food item from the menu, you will see all options available for how that particular item can be prepared. You then will have three choices:

  • You can order the food item as described.

  • You can request one or more of the available options, instead of receiving the item as described.

  • You can decide not to order that food item.

It is your responsibility to make sure you have marked your preferences clearly and checked for any food items that may cause allergic reactions.

Healthy Chef Creations™ recognizes that the following foods may cause severe allergic reactions in some people. We carefully check all ingredients in all dishes for these allergenic foods and post the allergy alerts next to each entrée. Your safety is important to us.

  • tree nuts (such as almonds, cashews, walnuts)
  • fish (such as bass, cod, flounder)
  • shellfish (such as crab, lobster, shrimp)
  • soy
  • wheat
