Eating Healthy Chef’s Enlightened Cuisine meals makes dieting simple.

We’ve designed this diet to reduce the barriers for you. We know it’s hard to get going! So here you’ll find there are no special books to read, no special food ingredients to find, no new preparation or cooking techniques to learn.

The first step is to fill out your personal profile online. The type of information we collect includes your weight, height, age and special dietary considerations.

The second step is to select which of our diet plans you’d like to start with. We highly recommend the 30- day and 90-day plans to get going and see results! (With the 90-day plan there’s a special motivator for you – you get a free whole foods cooking class!)

What Happens Next? Home delivery of your meals will begin the first date you specify in your personal profile. You will receive an email confirming the exact start of your delivery. Orders are due by Wednesday for the following weeks start date. Your fresh meals will be delivered throughout Central Florida on Tuesday & Fridays by 7 p.m. All Fed Ex overnight Deliveries will receive fresh meals on Wednesdays & Fridays by 4 p.m. With every delivery, you’ll receive 3 to 4 days of meals delivered right to your doorstep. Delivery fees will depend on area delivered.

Set a Healthy Goal

diet meal deliveryMany new dieters are unfamiliar with how many calories he or she should consume when trying to lose weight. The truth is that there are many complex formulas to determine a healthy caloric intake, accounting for various factors such as lean body mass, age and race. However, the simple calculation of 10 calories per pound of bodyweight per day is a good baseline (daily calories = 10 x bodyweight in pounds). Using this formula, a 150 pound woman, for example, would consume 1,500 calories per day (10 x 150 = 1,500). This should create a daily calorie deficit of approximately 500 calories which could lead to a loss of one pound of fat per week. (However, as with any diet, other factors may play into account with how active one is and other physical conditions such as diabetes & thyroid disease.)

But with Enlightened Cuisine meals, you do not need to calculate your daily caloric intake, decreasing the effort and potential for error!

Healthy Chef’s Enlightened Cuisine meals are adjusted for a fixed less than 1300 nutrient dense calorie intake per day. It’s all pre-arranged and convenient – allowing you to spend that extra time on exercise.

Set a Routine
Setting and sticking to a routine helps you to guarantee optimal success in your weight loss endeavor.

A Great Routine for You!

  • 6 AM – Wake up and drink 16 oz of water
  • 6:15-6:45 AM – Start your day with a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio- exercise three times a week. E.g. running, walking, aerobics and/or Pilates-type stretching, etc.
  • 7 AM - Breakfast
  • 10 AM - Mid Morning Energizer with a Spa Energy Drink
  • 12 PM - Lunch
  • 3 PM - Afternoon Healthy Snack and a Bottle of Ultra Pure Drinking Water
  • 6 PM - Dinner
  • 7 PM - Mini Dessert

Drinking a half liter of water actually increases the neuron transmitters that signal for fat release from fat cells. The general rule (not including counting water loss caused by exercise) is 64 oz per day of water. A way to measure hydration is that you should drink enough water to keep your urine colorless.

Exercise
Eating healthy food in conjunction with a daily exercise regimen will help you keep to your target goal. Early morning exercise is best to maximize the burning of calories derived from fat. Ideally, you should expect to spend at least 30 minutes a day exercising-(cleaning, mowing the lawn and walking a baby stroller all count toward that goal). Overnight fasting (sleep) primes the fat burning process. The fat release signal is stopped by insulin which is released when a meal is consumed.

Eat Portion-controlled Meals
First start your day off right. Breakfast is often viewed as inconvenient, yet eating breakfast is a behavior that defines subjects with long term success in losing weight. The ideal breakfast would include both complex carbohydrates and protein as the body has been without food for 10 – 14 hours in many cases. Sleep, during which you are fasting, liberates stored fat to provide energy overnight. But it also robs muscles of amino acids. Thus, it is vital to replenish the amino acids lost. Ideally, you should eat breakfast right after your morning exercise routine. Exercise enhances insulin sensitivity so the body is primed for nutrient absorption and carbs and protein are shuttled into active muscle rather than fat. Eating a complex carbohydrate with protein breakfast daily has been recognized as one behavior that defines subjects with long term success in weight loss.

Enlightened Cuisine’s portion-controlled breakfasts average 250 calories and include a complex carbohydrate and a protein. The remaining 4 meals need to follow every 3 to 4 hours. So, by the end of the day your body will have consumed 5 nutritious high energy meals, totaling approximately 1300 nutrient dense calories.

Get a Good Night’s Sleep
Getting a full night’s sleep needs to be a priority, not only to stay alert and function well but also to help promote fat loss.
